The Pasadena Millionaires, a historic minor league baseball team that brought excitement to Southern California in the early 20th century. Established in 1913, the Millionaires competed in the Class D level Southern California League, representing the city of Pasadena. They played their home games at Brookside Park. Mid-season, the team relocated to Santa Barbara, becoming the Barbareans, but the league disbanded later that year. The "Millionaires" moniker paid homage to Pasadena's affluent "Millionaire's Row" along South Orange Grove Boulevard.
